  9. Take Garnish:sugar crystal effects around glass rim for presentation
  10. Make ready Honey optional for health alternative natural sweetner
  11. Make ready Can Serve with nuts of choice or suitable savory snacks
  12. Take Ice cubes only in warm weather!

You can easily tell which are citrus fruits and which are not by their botanical name. All types of citrus fruits will have the name citrus in it. Other tropical fruits such as pineapples, bananas, mangoes, grapes, and peaches are not citrus fruits. For fruits, especially citrus, that means peeling away tough outer skins, peels and pith.

  1. Ingredients used:.here added some lovely reddish black sweet grapes.just remove the inedible parts but leave skin on. Then chop in half also have your lovely medium size glasses prepared by cleaning and then drying it outside and just apply bit if water around rim then tipping upside down in some lovely brown or /And white crystal sugar and create some effect like marks as if ice glaciers just can be creative and make it presentable! alhamdulillah
  2. Tip:for healthy purposes, you can use more sweeter grapes and plums and leave out adding the sugar totally. Or can add dash of honey as additional natural sweetener! Maybe after the blending
  3. Boil/heat : chop the plums,remove the mid stone but include flesh,leave skin on,peel about one circle only of lemon or orange rind add to pan add some if the brown sugar,the 1 glass of water,can add some whole spice e.g. cloves or can leave just as.par boil.about few mins only.
  4. As you will see plums are soft and rind just peels away MashaAllah. Remove aside from cooker and allow to cool. without 4get to reduce or remove the citrus rinds after boiling and before blending to avoid bitterness.this can be done just by spooning/fishing out! out the cooked plums into a small bowl inorder to remove the cloves or rinds.
  5. Don't forget to add back in blender the remaining water,and the cooked plums too,after spooning out or separating the spice and rinds from the boiled fruits (the one was added at step 4 above)
  6. Add an other glass and half ish of cold water to balance heat of boils if not completely cool.but it's better if it is completely cooled as will not damage blender and will taste better too..now blend pulse (not continuous)until you see very little plum and grape skin bits at sides of blender..
  7. Now sieve in another container before you pour in glasses.so all the mixture will go in thru sieve with help of press using back of spoon.and you will be left with only about 2 or 3 table spoon of soft pulpy residue of which you may use for other purpose you may e.g. maybe.if not just recycle!
  8. Pour in your lovely presented glasses.and enjoy with extra ice cubes in the warmer days:attention not to use ice cubes in cold winters,unless stated otherwise ie treatment theraputic etc or pregnancy trimesters where you may only eat ice drinks etc!enjoy bismillah enjoy.
