  1. Wash and soak the Lentils in about 1 1/2 cups of drinking water. Keep it aside. In the meantime, heat Oil and saute Ginger garlic paste with chopped Spring Onions. After a bit of sauteeing, add Tomatoes and the rest of the spices.
  2. Cover and cook on a low heat until done with the Tomatoes being soft and mushy. And now finally add the Lentils along with the water in which they have been soaked. Keep the heat on a medium high to high heat and adjust Salt at this stage. Also add in chopped Coriander Leaves. Cover and cook until it is done. The water is enough for it's cooking as these Lentils get cooked pretty much easily.
  3. Serve hot with Phulkas and Chapatis. It tastes yum with any of the Indian Breads. However if desired, it can be enjoyed with simple boiled Rice and Pickle. Enjoy!
