- Prepare 2 tsp or as per taste salt
- Take 5 tbsp mustard oil
Hyderabadi Paneer is a rich and nawabi preparation of cottage cheese in the spices and cream. It is a typical style hyderabadi recipe flavored with hyderabadi masala and fresh cream. Here I have not used much vegetables, but you can add veggies of your choice along with the cottage cheese. This Hyderabadi style paneer dish is aromatic, spicy and quite rich.
Instructions to make Hyderabadi Paneer:
- In a pan, heat one tbsp of oil, when the oil is heated, add onion, ginger, garlic, green chilies, coriander leaves tomatoes, saute for a min, add spinach and cook for 2-3 minutes.
- After that turn off the flame and let it cool. Then grind it to a paste.
- Now again heat four tbsp of oil in a pan and add a cinnamon stick, cloves, and cardamom, when splutter, add spinach masala, and cook till it changes its color.
- At this stage, add curd and fresh cream stir well cook for 2-3 minutes. Then add red chili, haldi powder, cumin, coriander powder, garam masala, and mix well. If necessary, add little water and cook well till oil separates.
- Lastly, add Kasoori methi, stir and put sliced Paneer and cook for another one minute. Our spicy Hyderabadi Paneer is ready. Serve hot.
Here I have not used much vegetables, but you can add veggies of your choice along with the cottage cheese. This Hyderabadi style paneer dish is aromatic, spicy and quite rich.
