  2. Take 1/2 Cup boondi
  3. Get 1/4 Cup Makhana ya fox nut
  4. Make ready 1 table spoon ghee
  5. Get 1 teaspoon Cumin seeds powder
  6. Make ready 1 teaspoon Redchili powder
  7. Prepare to taste Blacksalt
  8. Take to taste Salt
  9. Prepare as required Water

This is very easy to make and is a variation to the normal raitha made from vegetables. Squeeze out the boondi gently in between your palm to remove excess water. This step helps to remove excess oil from boondi. You can also skip this step and add dry boondi's directly into the yogurt.

Instructions to make Makhana Boondi Raita:
  1. For hung curd_put curd into a muslin cloth & bind it properly. Hung on a keel.Remove all water.
  2. Keep curd in Fridge.
  3. Heat a pan add ghee. roast makhana till then crispy & cool them.
  4. Take a big bowl & pour the hung curd & whisk the curd till smooth consistensy. add water as required.Add all spices salt blacksalt & cumin seeds powder & red chilli powder according to taste.mix properly.
  5. Add boondi in curd & mix it properly. keep it in fridge for cool.
  6. Add roasted makhana in rayata when you serve. Garnish with chopped Coriander. Serve with missi roti & nan.
