- Prepare Pinch cardamom powder (optional)
Makhana Is rich in calcium, protein, carbohydrates, phosphorous, iron, thiamine and zinc. You can spice it up the way you want. Just roast them and when they are cool, store in an air-tight container. Break and check if its crisp.
Instructions to make Makhana cookies:
- First collect all the ingredients. In mixer grinder make the powder of these Makhana, Almonds, cashews and take out in a bowl.
- Now in a powder add all the ingredients like sugar, ghee, cardamom powder, Desiccated coconutpowder, milk and make a soft dough. Keep it for 10 min for rest.
- Now make the Cookies with the help of cookies cutter or round cap of any jar.
- Now garnish it with almonds, pistachios, cashews as you wish and bake it at preheated oven for 25 min in 160° of temperature. Check and take out, a nice arroma fragrance comes out.
Just roast them and when they are cool, store in an air-tight container. Break and check if its crisp. Powder it coarsely and set aside. In the same pan add peanuts roast till crip, peel off the skin and set aside. Roast till brown spots appear, add it along with peanuts and powder it.
