- Add 2 tbsp of ghee in the same pan. Add jeera and saute for 30 seconds. Add finely chopped onions until it becomes translucent.
- Make a paste of tomatoes, garlic, ginger and green chillies. Once onion are cooked properly add the paste and cook until oil seperates. Season it with coriander powder, turmeric powder, red chilli powder and salt.
- Add boiled potatoes and roasted makhana. Adjust the water and simmer on a low flame for another 10 mins.
- Once done add kasuri methi & garam masala and serve hot with chapati, puri or paratha.
In a kadai, put the ghee. When it becomes hot add the phool makhana and fry. A good source of magnesium, potassium, phosphorus, zinc and iron, Makhana is definitely a super food.
